Do you have 3 to 5 years of experience in preparing and reviewing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns? We are looking for someone with great client service skills, and tax law knowledge who can step in, take charge, work independently, be a problem solver, and serve clients with the highest quality in all aspects of tax from planning and research, to completed tax returns. Experience in payroll and related compliance filings is necessary also.  We are growth oriented and forward thinking, using technology to deliver a better client experience.  A CPA is preferred but will consider someone with an accounting degree (bachelors or higher), solid tax experience, and skills. Compensation depends on experience.  


2. Part-time seasonal position to possibly grow into year-round and full-time position for the right candidate: (See instructions to apply below)


We are a growing CPA firm with two busy accountants needing office and technology assistance.  You will be the assistant mainly to the Principal CPA, but may also assist others in the firm. Someone to run errands, handle client communications (in-person, email, phone, and letters), and other office tasks as requested. We have an open work environment, are paperless, friendly, and believe coming to work should be enjoyable as long as work is done well and efficiently.  We require professional dress and a well groomed appearance, confidence, confidentiality, technologically savvy, a go-getter attitude, strong work ethic, common sense and initiative. You must be responsible, a quick learner, accountable for your tasks, be able to communicate by keeping it brief and friendly, and not let anything fall through the cracks. Be detail oriented, confidential, and maintain the highest security practices with client and firm information. A clean driving record, background check, and drug test are required.

The perfect candidate will have a strong interest in quality customer service, attention to detail, professional practices and appearance, technology and security solutions, accounting, and growth.  Also, he or she will work independently, follow directions and procedures, stay on top of tasks, and help propel the firm.

Compensation: DOE

Hours starting at: 9 am to 2 pm (2 to 3 days per week until January; more as needed); January through April (4 to 5 days per week, more hours as needed with weekend availability).
